Red-flag checker
Think of an offer, call, message or “opportunity” you have received. Tick everything that is true.
A prompt for caution, not a verdict. Genuine offers can have one or two of these traits; several together, especially secrecy, urgency or unusual payment, are the pattern fraud follows. If in doubt, stop, and verify with the organisation using contact details you find yourself. If you have already sent money, contact your bank straight away.
